We are a youthful race caught between the clear vision of our violent history and overwhelming responsibility to our fluid future. We are to be envied by the other races of the universe, even as they are as yet unknown to us. More than ever before we practice who we are to become through pretending. In it we make mistakes, learn and tune. We've done this for eons with whatever medium we the world affords us -- rock, ground pigments, quills, pens, whatever will release the pent up pressure of human imagination and creativity. This is why some of us write.
